The Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing year-round training and competitions to 5 million athletes and Unified States Sports partners in 172 countries.                                 

The Special Olympics World Games is a major event put on by the Special Olympics. This event alternates between summer and winter games, and is held every two years. This year the Greek   team, which have taken part many times in Special Olympics visited our school. This day was special f or all students. The meeting united all people.

Braille  is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired.It is mostly written in paper.A Frenchman,who lost his sight in young age,Louis Braille created Braille for blind people.He also developed a code for france language in 1824,in the age of 15.The characters are cells,rectangular blocks .Braille cells are not the only thing to appear in the Braille code.They may be illustrations  and graphs with lines. Braille was based on a code called night writing. In the English lesson , we made a poster from Braille code and we decorated the class.On the poster,we wrote wishes and things  like:Love yourself,Be yourself etc.

Nobel prize

The Nobel Prize is a set of five annual international awards bestowed in several categories by Swedish and Norwegian institutions in recognition of academic, cultural, or scientific advances.
The will of the Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel established the prizes in 1895. The prizes in Chemistry, Literature, Peace, Physics and Physiology or Medicine were first awarded in 1901. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank established the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, which has been commonly known as the Nobel Prize in Economics.The Nobel Prize is widely regarded as the most prestigious award available in the fields of literature, medicine, physics, chemistry, economics and activism for peace.

The Norwegian MPs proposed that the Norwegian news agency NTV, Norwegian Peace, former US secret service partner Edward Suden, the German journal Novaya Gazeta, Russian human rights activists and the units of the Kurdish "Pesmerga" For the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.

Book Review

Death Note  is a Japanese manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. The story follows Light Yagami, a high school student who stumbles across a mysterious otherworldly notebook: the "Death Note", which belonged to the Shinigami Ryuk, and grants its user the power to kill anyone whose name and face he knows. The series centers around Light's subsequent attempts to use the Death Note to create and rule a crime-less utopian world and the efforts of L, a reclusive detective, to capture him and end his reign of terror.We recommend it,because it’s a very nice psychological anime with great characters and plot which will give us suspence.            Also,the characters are genius and the battle between Light and L is very interesting.

Louros Beach this summer Louros beach opens again, already some people have started the summer baths on the most beautiful  beach of       Aitoloakarnania.This day the amazing shops of Louros are filled with people. Louros, 16 to 17 km long, is one of the most modern beaches of the prefecture of  Aitoloakarnania. It is located 17 kilometers southwest of Neochori. It is the largest beach in Greece

SCHOOL TRIP On May 15th we visited the ancient Olympia school. A beautiful city. The morning we went to a beautiful museum that included statues from the ancient years. We were welcomed by a woman who rushed to the archaeological site. It explained to us understandably why Everything we saw. Then he traveled to an archaeological site, which included   , columns and palaces. Later, we were at the first Olympic stage. At the Olympic Stadium we had the opportunity to enjoy it. At noon we went to the ancient Olympia where it was very beautiful.  We also had the opportunity to shop and see. Lastly, we made a stop at Patras where we had the opportunity to go shopping and for food.

Recipe -crêpes

Ingredients
2 hot eggs. room

1 fl. flour for all uses

1 pinch of sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 + 1/4 fl. milk fresh

2 tbl. butter melted and cold

For serving

fresh seasonal fruits

honey or melted chocolate

Implementation

For crêpes, first knock eggs with wire and add milk, sieved flour, butter, sugar and salt. Beat well with the wire.

Allow the mixture to stand for 1 hour. If the slurry is thick, pour some milk.

Butter or grease paper with a non-stick pan, pour some of the mixture and dangle to spread.

Bake for 1 ', invert and bake 30 "on the other side.

Fill with fruit and pour in melted chocolate or honey.
